Today, I don’t want to talk about technology, social media, ect, but only honor a Southafrican singer: Miriam Makeba.
Friend of President Mandela, she spent her whole life fighting against racism.
Her last concert – and her last minutes of life – strongly represent her courage and civil involvement. The concert was held in Castelvolturno, near Naples, and it was against camorra, in order to support the Italian writer Roberto Saviano.
We’ll miss you and your voice, Mama Africa.
